Hong Kong Park

On the weekend, Emily and I went to Hong Kong Park, and the weather was absolutely perfect. I had been wanting to go here for ages and it was the perfect afternoon to go and visit the park. I did't realise how big the place was. It reminded me a little bit of Central Park in New York with its location in the middle of the city with all the skyscrapers around it. So we walked around there and we also visited the aviary and I will post more pictures of that later.

There were so many people at the park, we got to see all the waterfalls, which I am obsessed with!! And we also got to see lots of turtles, the nature and lots of pretty flowers and gardens. It is just such a nice place to go and relax and unwind. We also saw some mini markets at the end, where they had someone teaching people how to write Mandarin. And since we already do Mandarin at uni and know some we decided to try it out and it was so much fun. We had to use a paintbrush with water and the paper would transform with the syllables we wrote over it with the brush. It was pretty impressive!

After that we also went to a tea museum, but I didn't take any pictures in there but that was pretty cool too. All the different tea pots and tea cups were different themed. Like pineapple tea pots, or skulled tea pots and all this other crazy stuff. It was a really great day. Hope you enjoy the pictures
