Chi Lin Nunnery

Chi Lin Nunnery was another place I visited after the Nan Lian Gardens. The Nunnery has amazing Tang Dynasty Architecture made of wood and is constructed without the aid of any nails! Which I found absolutely amazing. I was not able to take any pictures inside the Nunnery itself, but there were incredible statues and exhibits of Buddha, his disciples, his teaching and so much information on the religion of Buddhism. It was really amazing to see it all. It is a really calming and relaxing place to be in the world's largest hand made wooden building. They also have traditional Chinese music playing through the Nunnery, which is really lovely.
