Kowloon Park
Today we did some more sightseeing after what feels like quite a while. Clem had been to the Kowloon Park before and today she showed it to Me, Emily and Jack. We had a Mandarin class today and had the rest of the afternoon free, so we thought it was a perfect day to go to the Park. It is in Tsim Sha Tsui, so it is not far away at all. When we got there, we walked along the paths to see the flamingos, which was one of the things we were looking forward to the most I think. They were so cute and there were so many of them too! A lot of them were not actually that pink though, but what I didn't realise is that when flamingos spread their wings, they are super pink in colour.
Anyway, we then walked over to the birds and saw parrots and cockatoos. We also so an African Grey Parrot, which was the highlight of our day! He (I have decided it was a he, I am probably wrong) was sooooo chatty and adorable. We stood there talking to it and making funny noises. It even did a wolf whistle which took us by surprise and did a little head bopping dance for us. It was great.
Everyone then got some ice cream and we sat and talked. We continued walking though the park for the rest of the afternoon and it was really nice. Even though it was a cold and gloomy day, we still had a really lovely time.
After that we found the Avenue of Comic Stars which was so cool, so I will write a blog post about that too and share all the funny pictures we took.
Hope you enjoy!
