Claisebrook Cove, Perth

The other day I went to Claisebrook Cove in East Perth for a visit. It was a beautiful summer’s evening with the perfect weather! I hadn’t been there in quite some time, but it was just as gorgeous as I remember it to be. I went there with some people from uni and it was nice just to walk around and breathe in the fresh air and bask in the summer’s sun.
Claisebrook Cove was actually a part of the redevelopment of Perth in 1991 I think, where there was a transformation of the are to allow the Cove to be the economic, marketing and social focus of the area. The waterfront space has created some space activation, allowing people to take advantage of the river as well as the beautiful housing along the Cove’s edge. The whole area is adorned with beautiful lush trees, free standing areas, specially designed seating, fountains and landscaping with recreational facilities.
I always love walking around the Cove to see all the gorgeous houses. I love that they are all so different and unique, but give the place such a unique character. I like to call these houses ‘ordered chaos’
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the photos!
