BASILICA OF SANTA MARIA IN ARA COELI

On one of our days adventuring around Rome, we stumbled across a massive set of steps, which we decided to climb up. The view was so nice from there. We got to see the piazza from above. At the top of the stairs, there was an old wooden door and behind that door was the most beautiful Basilica I had seen. It was like a hidden gem! I was absolutely blown away, as was everyone else.
